Educational Alliances
Mexicali is home to three major universities and a number of technical trade schools. Silicon Border personnel are currently working with the staff of the three universities in the area to develop additional technical and management curricula that will support operations in the park:
- CETYS University (private)
- Autonome University of Baja California – UABC (state-supported)Mexicali
- Technical Institute of Mexicali (federally-supported)
Through ongoing discussions with major U.S. universities offering semiconductor-specific curricula, Silicon Border is also exploring extension courses to support a long-term workforce for Silicon Border.
